General details of the IBPS Clerk Exam:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Indian
- Age: Generally between 20 and 28 years (age relaxation is provided for reserved categories).
- Educational Qualification: A degree (graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university.
Selection Process:
- The selection process typically consists of two phases: Preliminary Exam and Main Exam.
- Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Exam are eligible to appear for the Main Exam.
- The final selection is based on the candidate's performance in the Main Exam.
Exam Pattern:
- Preliminary Exam:
  - Objective type questions.
  - Three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.
  - Duration: 1 hour.
- Main Exam:
  - Objective type questions.
  - Four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.
  - Duration: 160 minutes.
Interview (Not applicable from 2021):
- In earlier years, there used to be an interview process, but as of 2021, interviews have been discontinued for IBPS Clerk recruitment.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT):
- Candidates shortlisted for final selection might have to undergo a Language Proficiency Test (LPT) to ensure their proficiency in the official language of the state/UT.

Admit Card:
